On the third floor of an 18th-century building in the heart of Rome, you'll find this gorgeous apartment. With plenty of Italian charm, it's a million miles away from a soulless city hotel room, and we think you'll settle in within no time at all. The owner of this magical spot was inspired by his love of photography when designing the interior, which carefully balances old and new influences. You'll love the bright and airy living space, where you can plan your itinerary over a glass of Chianti, and the smart kitchen which is sure to inspire you to whip up some pasta. The study is full of books on a range of topics, and you can catch up on your own work at the smart desk space. And, in the bedrooms, you can admire the pretty Fornasetti wallpapers before enjoying a great night's sleep. If you're arriving by train, or want to use Rome's public transport network, then you'll be happy to know that Termini station is just five minutes away. You can walk to Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore, which is just five minutes away, and pick up an espresso on the way. And, if you stroll a little further, you can arrive at the Colleseum and Roman Forum in around twenty minutes – history fans will be in heaven.

About Termini

Burst out of Rome's main station and you fall straight into the sights and sounds of Termini. This is a convenient location, if not a particularly beautiful one, and your neighbours will be mostly fellow visitors to Italy looking for somewhere with excellent local...
